Aid donations are mostly smoke and mirrors.

The same funds are announced time after time. Some aid gets swallowed up by red tape and interest owed. The donating nation then dictates what the remaining funds can be used for. Most money turns into overpriced western drugs, to ‘help’ the sick in Africa. The rest will go on overpriced arms for the African war lord leaders. So the big headline donations are not what they seem.

The aid money isn't real money. It's a value that's put on the services we decide to grant. If it doesn’t help Africa it’s all a fraud.
The World Trade Organisation should end the block on Africa entering the free trade market. Africa needs investment and market entry for a sustainable solution to poverty
