Growth plates generally close between the ages of 16 and 18. How do you know if your growth plate has fused? It can be determined by X-ray and you'll know when you stop growing. There is a remote possiblity you'll add another inch but I wouldn't bank my future on it.

Virtually no chance at all exists that you'll grow any more. Five foot eleven is a perfectly acceptable height. Exercise, eat right and don't smoke or drink and you'll be as healthy, or healthier, as anyone else. The only way to tell whether your growth plates have fused is via a standard x-ray view of your wrists, taken with your palms down flat on the film. A radiologist will be able to tell by looking at the film. At your age, that's really unneccessary and you don't need the exposure to ionizing radiation.

I suppose that there is always a "chance" of anything happening. Generally, depending on when you started puberty, you have reached your full adult height. But, short of having a MRI scan, there is really no way of telling if the plate has fused or not. (and for some people, it never fully does). Try to find ways to be happy with your current height in the case that you don't grow any more, also lifts will add an inch or two to your current height.

I've been 6'1 since high school but the growth plates in your long bones should fuse by 25ish.

You don't. I think there is a chance that you will grow an inch or so by 21. If not, I am the same height as you and I feel tall, especially when I go out and have my timberlands on.
