This always hass been questionable. It was interesting though because he was told by a village witch doctor that to gain courage and strength he would be required to devour the heart of someone very close to him and that he loved.

Although never proven...his son disappeared shortly thereafter with no logical explanation.

It is really hard to prove it.One of the reasons he was labelled as the cannibal was the fact that he expelled all the British form his country which later on led to the hatred of the British towards him.
