her dad is a little more than that as he has an unhealthy fixation on her breasts! totally inappropriate!

funny you should ask this b/c my sister and i were just talking about this last night!
she and i both agree that especially ashlee and jessica's dad is a huge hypocrite...i mean, he was a minister, and now he's making comments about jessica's boobs?
i don't think their faith was an act all along, i just think they lost their way when they got caught up in fame and money.

I think because Jessica wasn't being recognized with her talent her dad decided to switch music industrys her apperance just helped her even more. But Ashley is just riding on her sister's coattails and she doesn't have any singing talent or good looks like her sister which she even recognized with her song LIving in the Shadow of someone else's dream. They are hypocrites but to a certain level. But they could have stuck it out in the christian biz and been the new Nicole C Mullens.

they are complete hypocrites, they are fame/money whores and they used jessicas sexuality to get that. not to mention ashley had this huge artical in cosmo about loving yourself and your imperfections and then went and had all that plastic surgery done....haha

We are all hypocritical at times,we are also all human with weaknesses "to err is human to forgive and get on with it is Divine."
Unless one is privy to some inside personal information on their real lives I would just ignore the tabloids they know less them we do.T he only news to back any of this up is entertainment news. I do not know them and believe little of the hype you shouldn't either. Take care

The way they are just acting is just...worldly.
1) She exposes too much like most celebrities.
2) I bet she might be thinking, oh look my life is so great, I don't need God
3) Only God knows, but I personally think that she is on that wide path to destruction if you know what I am talking about (Matt. 10)

i do. i doubt most christians would approve of jessica simpson in Dukes of Hazzard, especially in that music video for the movie. their relationship with their dad is also very disturbing. i used to like her back when she first came out with her first cd, but now she's just becoming another britney spears.

YES!!!
She made such a big deal over being a virgin and how important marriage is and then she got divorced in a few years. The church teaches thatyou stick it out and work it out and you DON'T get divorced. Her father probaly counseled many couples not to get divorced.

I think they drifted away. Jamie Foxx was brought up in a strict Christian home, but when he got to Hollywood, it only took a few years for him to get messed up. Same with the Simpson family.
