IN the area where I live,
People who are involved in the homeopathics are not trained in traditional medicines, and visa-versa.

there are no particular requirements(training) for a person to sell, or dispence herbs, even the herbs themselves will have a disclaimer reading " this statement has not been diagnosed by the fda, and is not intended for the treatment of any disease"
many people just go in to GMC or wherever and buy them based on little more than a passing article in a health magazine, or even a general intrest magazine.

I do beleive that herbs are benefical, the trick is making sure they don't conflict with any traditional drugs you may be taking
making sure you are getting the right doses,
making sure the herbs were prepared correctly,

It takes no more than 2.00 to make a months supply of any drug, however they will charge 100 times that for the drug. Now you and are your insurance company can still pay for the drug, but what you can not afford are the side effects. By the way average life of a drug pusher doctor is 58. Doctors treat your specific health at the expense of your general health. In the last 5 years I have cured my self of Asama, ulcers, colitis, and heart problems with Herbs. Yes I took the drugs in order to stay on the Job, but when I became disabled I saw the light and went another way.

I don't have specific answers, but I pick herbal over chemical every time. It's amazing how much better you can feel with exercise, fresh food and water, vitamins, and some herbs.
