'Tis the season for New Year's Eve parties. When that countdown happens, is is right to french-kiss a stranger, or keep the tongue to yourself?

I'd say keep your tongue to yourself. There are many reasons why.
1) You don't know if the person will be offended or upset by you shoving your tongue in their mouth. I know if some random guy that I didn't know and was not attracted to shoved his tongue in my mouth, I'd be extremely upset. A simple smooch is more than enough to a stranger.
2) You don't know what the stranger may have. They could be sick with something and you could easily pick it up by shoving your tongue in their mouth.

Your safest bet is to keep your tongue to yourself. ;-)

Keep the tongue to yourself. Not appropriate for a stranger.

Depends on the tone of the party and those attending.

If I knew 100% that this woman would never see me again and she was in the right mood, hell yeah I'd go for tongue.

Rely on your experience and go with the moment - for all you know, it might just land you a future spouse and a great story to tell the kids.

There is no glory without risk.

I say no tongue. Yes, you only live once, but you don't want to make someone else feel uncomfortable. It's a celebratory kiss, not permission to maul strangers.

Happy holidays!

Many STD's can be transferred through saliva. You put yourself at risk french-kissing a total stranger.
I would keep my tongue to myself, give a peck on the lips or cheeks and a big warm hug.

Depends on how drunk you are:)

Generally no, that would be rude. However I once had a total stranger plant a frenchy on my without saying a word and it was exciting. Not New Years but we were drunk.
