I keep procrastinating, but the reason I want to send them is one, I feel guilty if I don't, and two, I really enjoy receiving them from others. What do you think about Christmas card writing? Do you personalize each one with a message or just sign your name?

I love to send out Christmas cards each year, and to be honest, a lot of people think of it as a chore, but I never have for whatever reason. At one time I used to have 40+ pen pals all over the world (when I was a kid and had no responsibilities!) and would send them each a Christmas card. Now, I just send them to my family and friends, but I do go to Hallmark every year and pick out specific cards for each recipient. I try to personalize them too, with like you said, writing a message.

I don't get to write that much to anyone anymore, so I find the Christmas season a joy to catch up with people, send best wishes and tell them how I've been.

It's a painful chore. This year I think I will print off a Christmas poem and send.

Yes, it is a chore especially addressing!

I've taken to doing a collage of my kids on the front and a QUICK writeup on the inside, then I just sign and send. It lets everyone know I thought of them and what I've been up to and dosent wear out my hand.

It's not a chore. It's something you do to spread your Holiday cheer to others. I'd personalize each one.

my husband, me and our two dogs take a picture every year and we have them printed up at walgreens.com you can type a message on them and if you want to personalize one to certain people you can do so. it is pretty cheap and people get to keep in touch with what you look like and all.
