Can someone please take me through the proceedure for printing my own postage stamps. I want to print 70 Second Class stamps and 25 First Class Stamps.
I am using the proper Royal Mail programme, but when I get to the bit where I want to print my second class stamps, the programme asks me for the address of each person I want to send my second class letters to. Surely, it is not necessary to give all 70 second class and 25 First class addresses.
How do I just get 70 +25 stamps printed without giving all that info.?
Because of a health problem, I'm not able to get out of home to go to the Post Office and I thought this was a good way to stamp my Christmas mail.
Please someone in the U.K. help me.

I don't think the programme actually prints stamps (ie the ones with HM's head on them), but in fact prints postage labels, doesn't it. Can you just put spaces in the boxes where it wants you to insert the addresses? That way it'll print out blank and you can write them in. But do you really want to write out 95 addresses by hand? I'm dreading doing my 20-odd!

Also, it's bit late in this case but maybe useful for future reference - did you know that you can buy stamps from the Royal Mail website? If you spend over £35 (which I think you would on this order), delivery is free. However, it does say 5-10 days for delivery.

The program has been created to print a shipping label (with postage) rather than just a stamp. This is done to create a uniform address format which is read more easily by the sorting machines.

I do not know of a way around this. You should insert each envelope for printing or invest in some sheets of sticky paper.

The set up from the Royal Mail prints the address as well as the stamp onto the envelope. You can see an example on the website. A word of warning, they have to be used within a certain time frame - I think its 48 hours but you can also check this on their website.

I don't think that you will be printing stamps from what I understand you will print a type of bar code directly on to the envelope or a label

Previous answers are basically correct. In addition, You must fill in the boxes properly or it doesn't work. Also I think it only does first class, no seconds
