I'm not sure about your specific zip code but there is a place called Freecycle here on the internet that may help. The website is www.freecycle.org . Basically what you do is locate the one closest to you and then post a list of "wants" after you join the group. There are also many other people posting things they are no longer in need of but don't want to throw away. Everything on the site is free. It's a way for those who have to contribute to those who don't. I wish you the best of luck this holiday season. God Bless you during this time. Try maybe doing something different with your family like celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ. Focus your holiday more about giving to others not so much with materialistic things but with love. That is what my family does, so they don't get so Christmas is only about presents and how much you get. But I do know there is a thing called Toys for Tots and you can go online and sign up to receive gifts. Have a Merry Christmas with your family!

one or two gifts that they will love will be fine, especially if you can get plenty of little stocking fillers- ask in newsagents what they do with the free gifts from old issues of the kids magazines usually when issues go back the toys get dumped. in the shop i worked in we used to rip off all the free toys and pencil sets and i'd fill up a bag to bring babysitting- the kids were thrilled and it didn't matter if they broke becaus they were free!! have a good one!

Try a local Catholic church usually around this time they received gifts for children from their community so they may be able to help you out. I hope you work it out.

You live near me- you should try a group online called freecycle. It is free and there are people every day clearing out their kids stuff and giving it away. And also, the Salvation army.
