I have free limewire and the version number is 4.12.6
You can go to www.download.com and search for limewire. You can browse downloads by OS version, license type, etc. When you come to the limewire downloads look for license tyoe and make sure it says free. A good indicator that you chose the right one is if it has a hish number of people who downloaded it ( it will tell you how many ). If you have any questions or need a walk through just let me know.

Download Limewire Basic - its free. Limewire Pro costs money & its not worth it.

DON"T GET IT!!! JUST STOP NOW!!!! it screwed my computer
up really bad. i had to get a whole new harddrive.
(oh btw, get basic)
