I went to a Christmas Party and we played the Dirty Santa Game. As the game came to a close, I ended up with a broach that are usually worn by older women. It is a nice piece of jewelry, but I just never wear them.

However, My grandmother likes to wear them. Would it be ok to re-gift this to her? or Would that be innappropriate?

I re-gift all the time if you think your grandmother is going to like it by all means give it to her. I don't the person who bought if for the Dirty Santa game would be offended if they found out you gave it away because the gift was not purchased specifically for you.

Its fine, re-gifting is perfectly fine. Just dont let the person who gave it to you find out. You got it at a Dirty Santa Game, so that wont be a problem.

If you are just going to throw it away, you might as well give it to someone who would like it.

Especially because it was a casual gift from someone who didn't know you, if it had been a 'meaningful' gift from a friend or family member, then that would be different.

Re-gifting something like that is fine. I did that with a necklace I received I thought my grandmother would like better, and she did!

No not at all! I do that all of the time! You are giving somthing to someone and they don't know if it was giving to you and you gave it to her! She probally doesn't know that! Its fine! Go ahead. But put it in a jewerley box so it doesn't look as it did or has been used. Make it look like you got it at a store. Best Of Luck and Merry Christmas!

I would definitely re-gift it if you think your Grandmother would like it. If not, it will be clutter in your house or unnecessarily cast into a landfill.

YES - give it to her.

No need to waste resources. Add a little something you can buy or make yourself if you want to be more personal and ease the guilt you seem to have.

re-gifting is fine under 2 rules - you don't give it back to the person who gave it too you and you give it to somebody you know is going to (or thinks) will like the gift.......
