No. She was adopted by them. Her mother and her father were friends of the Richie's. The mother was always working and leaving her with them. The father, I think, was not so muh in her life. nicole got so used to staying there and the Richie's loved her as much as anyone else (to them, that was their daughter), that the mother asked Nicole if she really wanted to stay with them and have them be her parents because she did not just want to uproot her child while she wanted to do what she wanted to do. She thought that they were better fit parents to raise her and so, they agreed. So, Her last name was changed to 'Richie' and Lionel and his then wife adopted her as their own. She still is with contacts with her mom, though. They have a good relationship and she is happy for the fact that she was adopted by them.

Yes she is Lionel Richie's kid, but only by adoption. I saw someone here mention that she is his stepchild, but that is incorrect because he never married her mother, or even had a relation with her as far as I know.
However, I think she should change one letter in her last name, change the R to a B. Did you hear that this skank was arrested this morning for DUI in LA? That's not bad, but this dummy was also reportedly driving the wrong way on a major freeway. Stupid little piece of trash could have killed someone, and she will probably get off light, and joke about it. I swear, if someone were to take this skank and people like her out of the gene pool, we would be a better nation for it. I ain't condoning any kind of killing, but I can't say I would feel any sorrow on her passing.

NO. she is not the biological child. I think her father was actually somebody in Lione Richie's band and he loved her so much and adopted her.

Biologically no, legally yes. Lionel has raised Nicole since she was 3 years old, then when she was 9 years old Lionel and his wife adopted her.
