yes, they said the same thing about projection tv's back 10 years ago. The problem they had back in the day, was that an image would be burnt into the screen or tube, but with video games today, there is not an image usually that stays in place for any given amount of time, thereby not allowing the game to 'burn' the image into the screen.

Yeah, no problems there. You might just want to check your TV's manual, because some HDTV's and LCD screen manuals say that video games aren't good for the TV, so just check it out.

Yes, but they are bad for some TV's so read the manual. and by the way, LCDs look terrific with ps3 or 360

a regular LCD tv will have no problem. The only time you will have problems is with projection TVs. The static images in videogames (backgrounds etc.) will eventually burn into your screen. Check your TV's manual if you have any questions.
