My husband and I are spending Christmas with his family. In my family there are alor of kids so Christmas is about them having fun. With my husband's family its just 3 little ones and they are 2yrs old and an 8 month old. We need ways to keep ourselves entertained. Anyone know of any games we can play?

My family used to get together and play games every Christmas eve but the game that I remember being the most fun was one that we didn't even have to buy.....one of my nephews had played this somewhere and shared it with us, we had a ball.....all you have to do to prepare is have everyone help you make a list of words. Don't tell anyone what you are going to do as this will influence the word list that they come up with. After you have a list of words (as long as you want...20 would be good) you will need to divide into 2 teams. Then,beginning with the first word, the teams take turns coming up with a line from a song that contains each word. But, they have to sing it. You stay on each word until a team can't come up with a line for it and then the other team gets a point. You then go on to the next word. This is really much more fun and entertaining than it sounds here....especially depending on the words you come up with....it's so funny. Try it.

My family used to like to play win lose or draw. "Cranium" games have a lot of variations of this charades type game. My friends and I used to play "Planet Hollywood" a lot but that was before all of the "scene it" games came out... I hear those are a lot of fun too. Catch Phrase can be fun also.

I like games where people have to work in teams so it's like bonding. We always play Pictionary or Scategories because people get really into them.
My friends swear by Cranium too.
f you have a DVD player, Scene It is always fun.
