Does a 6 year old Autistic child qualify for any type of social security?

I have a 6 year autistic child. I am married with quite a few assets. I was told she would qualify for social security but was turned down twice. I was also told they would turn me down but to appeal after the second turndown.

only if you are poor...once the child turns 18, they will qualify. Keep good records (doctors, schools) and as soon as they turn 18, they can apply

Yes, go all the way. The schooling alone is expensive. Autism is a disability.
