You've got to be kidding!

I think you are right - plus the 'two against one' strategy of Blair and Kennedy that his sneakiness Blair got the poor fool Kennedy to agree to. (It was telling that Kennedy's downfall was at the hands of a defector from the Labour party)

I think that now more and more of us know that Labour under Blair and henchman Brown have caused enormous damage to the economy of this country that will take decades to repair. How different it might have been.

Maybe you're right, I couldn't stand his sneering/smug demeanor. I thought Iain Duncan Smith was the best they've had in recent years (I seem to be the only one). i'd have preferred to see Ken Clarke instead of Hague during those years.

He's a damn sight better than the flower child that they've got in now, and for me Hague's the best option available

He may have come over as smug and had a funny voice but he beat the pants off Tony Blair every day in the House of Commons.

I agree entirely. Can you imagine him attending a summit of world leaders, after downing fourteen pints of bitter? He'd wipe the floor with them.

I totally agree. He's very smart, a great public speaker, he's very witty and seems to be genuine.

He only failed because of the old dinosaurs in the party and their refusal to modernise.

It's a shame, but I think David Cameron will be good when he's published his policies.

I heard that he got his head slapped in Wesminster tube - that's all he's good for!
