if you buying it from itunes than just press file on your upper left side of your screen, and then go down to Sync Ipod, your ipod will say Do Not Disconnect, so don't do it, or your ipod will freeze up. then when its done go down to the bottom right side of the screen and press Eject Ipod, the button that is next to the thing that looks like an eye

uhhh duhhh ITUNES!! ok put ur song on itnes, by finding the file and rite click the file and choose open with...[itunes] and then it will play on itunes. ok bla bla bla. then plug in ur ipod to the usb cord wich should be plugged into the computers usb port. then click update ipod on itunes wich is under File. SEE?EASY!

I don't think you can put songs onto an iPod, can you? I don't know. Since, I wouldn't buy one that didn't come with directions. ;-)
