After seing the film Antz, I want to be an ant lol! They have so much fun :-D and always come out on top. I'd like to be a worker ant methinks.

Ants work all their lives but seem content with doing it. They have the security of a HUGE "family" so to speak. And their diet is better than a fly's diet.
On the other hand, a fly gets to fly. I am sure a fly is very content with it's diet. A fly's most important job is locating a place to lay it's eggs. And avoiding spider webs, birds and frogs.
Seems it would be a toss up IMO. I don't know what an ant's lifespan is but I know that a fly doesn't live for long naturally. I can't imagine an ant reaches a very old age either. In that light, I would try either because if it is terrible, it will be over very soon.

Id rather be an ant especially an army ant they wipe out anything in their path including flys
wait id be a fly only if i got to be a dragon fly

If I was an ant, I'd probably have a real sense of belonging and a sense of purpose in work. It'd also be nice to be able to lift and carry things many many times my own weight. And, ants get to kiss a lot of other ants!

An ant because I know a fact about flies. They pee every other second and lay eggs in people's food garbage cans and eaten by spiders by getting liquified. While ants are protected by soldier ants can lift 100x their body weight and basically take care of the babies and the queen. It sounds a lot more easier than being swatted at and dodging almost invisible webs of death.

A fly eats shi* but they can fly. Ants get burned by magnifying glasses. Ouch! How about a flying ant? That is what I would choose.

Neither one sounds good but after thinking it over
I would have to chose an ant.
Flies eat crap and don't live very long
although ants eat dead things, they are blind so at least they don't know it. But I think the deciding factor for me is:
Ants don't start off their lives as MAGGOTS! yuck!

I'd rather be an ant because flies only live for 24 hours and puke on their food before they eat it.
Ants, on the other hand, are very strong compared to their size.
