Well he took me to lunch today and he asked me to marry him how do I know that it isn't just because I am pregnant? How do I know that he truly means it?

Maybe ask him...I know I would..but if he was talking or maybe thinking about marrying b4 u were preg.. then he may be for real but if he just asked now that he finds out then maybe he just realized that he would want a family to be together and not like a typical american dude..u know the ones that dont help take care of their kids...take it for what its worth...if the relationship was good and lovely b4 then believe it...if u doubting like that then just ask but make sure u want to marry him also.

Do you love each other and do you feel that you are compatible enough to be married to each other?
If your answer to both of those questions is "Yes", then it doesn't matter if you are pregnant or not, does it? Just view the pregnancy as pushing your destiny a little closer, that's all.
And frankly, in this day and age of men disappearing the moment the stick gets a + sign, I'd be seriously wanting to hang onto a guy that has a sense of responsibility.

Well do you truly love him? Do you want to marry him? You could just ask him or talk to him about it - say "why do you want to marry me" find out for yourself what he thinks of you and marriage.

If you don't know the answer to this question, then you probably shouldn't be marrying him now. You should already know if he loves you. You should know that when sleeping with him. He loves you and is doing the right thing, both can be done.

Make him feel there is no pressure to marry because your pregnant and see what he says. Give him an easy out and see if he takes it.

You never will know for sure. You will simply have to make a choice. If he is a good man and my guess is he is if he wants to have his child born into a "normal" family the you should marry him.
