America is the last remaining superpower and while the faults of its Government are no greater and in many cases considerably less than thos of other governments, the outcomes are considerably more noticeable.
In any event, if you check out sites like the United Nations, you will see that most countries get pretty negative feedback about aspects of their policies and activities.
It may be that negative comments about the USA get greater coverage where you are.

Well I dislike the American government and I do think that with your status as the only world superpower, you have a certain responsibility to wield that power in a way that is good for you and the rest of the world and I don't believe that is happening at the moment. I agree that disliking and disagreeing with the government shouldn't be directed at the American people BUT the problem is summed up nicely by freddyneuwendyke (2 posts above me). A common response to criticism is to accuse the person of being jealous. I'm English. I live in London and I have a nice quality of life, thank you very much. I've been to America. It was nice but I'm very happy in London. I have freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom to do anything I want within the law, therefore I have nothing to be jealous of. But every time there is criticism of America, someone says it's jealousy and the vast majority of the time, I can promise it's not.

Because the American government believes that their government is the best and should be implemented in all the world. They go around the world spreading their propaganda to countries that don't want/need it. They believe they are the rulers of the world, that everyone else needs to follow them. "You're with us or you're against us" President Bush. This statement leads to the sentiment of hate toward the American people. Fortunately, not all Americans feel this way. Unfortunately the rest of the world doesn't know that.

don't get confused people don't hate Americans people hate the actual American Government just like many other Americans.
for example why do American government always interpose it self in other countries issues under the name of fighting the terrorism beside it is terrorizing people in their own countries.

Because unfortunately a lot of people are jealous of our way of life and it's much easier for haters to try and drag everyone else down to their piss poor pathetic level than to step up and bust their *** for what they want.
I pay no heed to the haters and feel no guilt for all I have enjoyed in my life.
