I have an unbearably cute picture of my little one to send with this year's Christmas cards. Is it intrusive -- or bad in any way -- to send cards to my former in-laws? I'm not on great terms with the ex, but I adore his family. (I haven't had reason to speak to his grandparents in over a year. His mom sends me holiday and birthday cards. And I'm in pretty regular contact with my ex-sisters-in-law.)

Your unbearably cute little one is still their grandchild, so why wouldn't you send picture or a card? You should do all you can to maintain contact with them. They didn't divorce you, or their grandchild.

It is Christmas time and grandparents love to see pictures of their grandchildren.. Do not deny them the pleasure of the photo.Since his mum still sends you cards because she probably wants to stay in contact with you since you have a child that is also their grandchild then yes send cards to your in-laws.

Send them the card, the child is still family, and the child needs to know he/she has other relatives no matter if divorced. For the childrens sake its good to try and keep the lines of communication open.

You should send them a card, but only your child should actually sign the card.
It should be from your child to the grandparents.

Send it, your child is their grandchild. There is no reason to stop them from enjoying the life of your kids.

I would definetly send the cards; it is the holidays. Show them that you still think of them and care about them.

By all means go ahead. Who cares about the ex. What matters is the kid. Go ahead, I'm sure they'll be happy to get it.
