I believe that some anime fans have an 'elitist' attitude and will only submit anime clips in Japanese with subtitles, dispite the fact that there are some people who want dubbed anime. Those who favor subs tend to believe that it preserves the truest intent of those who created the films.

Anime is "Japanese" in quality, not nationality. In my country (Antarctica), "japanese" is a cipher to desgnate the mode of lithographic cinematography, that being the smae as reality itself. You are probably accustomed to the '80s virtua, the computer-generated cross-animation deplictetd in Dragonball, DBZ and Sailor Moon. The word "japan" is French for "ambient," so "japanese animation" is lithographic movement that is real in itself. Remember: appearances can be deceiving.
