Everyone is telling me to wake up and smell the roses! they say once gay always gay but, the confusing thing about it is my X claims that was a part of his life he never wants to revisit (mistake) and he is not gay! but i am all confused, then i recently saw the movie brokeback mountain and that just put the icning on the cake for me because that movie persuaded me to come to the conclusion that he is still GAY! PLEASE someone help me as you can tell unfortunately i still LOVE him :( but i REFUSE to have be with him if he is GAY

You say your X boyfriend - sounds like the relationship is already over, so I don't understand the problem. If it is over just do your best to heal and find someone more sutied to you!

Many people who choose homosexuality do so out of either guilt from being branded or they were abused by someone as a child. Your X may have been the victim of a predator -- yet carried on out of some sick sense of belonging. Anyway, he needs counseling -- IF he wants to get away from that lifestyle choice and get on with his life.
If you love him, stand beside him and help him get through this. If you're only thinking of yourself (which is what it sounds like from your paragraph above), you won't be satisfied no matter what he does.

He could be gay.But he also might be bisexual or really straight.Many young people experiment with the same sex.Some find out that they don't like it.
You can not base your perception of your Ex on one experience and a movie.You need to sit down and have a serious talk with him.

if he was with an older man, unless he really couldn't get ANY anywhere else for a really long time, he is bi or gay.
Maybe just ask him if he is gay.
Also, maybe take him to a beach in Summer. Watch who he notices.

i can tell you from my own experience , that once you are with the same sex it is something you never forget. you may try an carry on with a lie in your normal routine in life. but you will never quit craving the sex you had with your ex partner (if it were great) and i personally feel you always have that bisexual side to you then.

He sounds just as confused as you. Bisexual is the term you are looking for. I don't blame you. I never wanted to share my man with any other lover be he male or she female. A player is a player not matter what sexual orientation they are.

Thats the spirit! Love him, but not if he is gay....
Think about it for a second. He is with you, a female....how can he posssibly be gay?? Bisexual, maybe, but gay? unless youre sporting a "little something extra" downstairs, your fears are unwarranted. And ridiculous.

well i'd rather call him a bisexual coz he can go out with both, a man and a woman.
Love him and go out with him, and try making him forget his bf.
