There should be an icon of a speaker by the time on your task bar (lower right corner). Double click the speaker and a window comes up. It should have the volume control for CD player. You can also increase the volume by using the volume control in the program you're using to listen to CD.

In the lower right corner of the system tray there will be a speaker icon. Double click it and it will bring up the volume control window. You can control the cd volume as well as the master volume here.

I laugh at the others here telling you to do this and that, well to increase the volume on you PC with out too much fiddling
1.buy a hifi lead with a mini jack 3.5mm at one end which splits in to two for your left and right channel's on your amp
2 plug these to end's one will be white and other one will be red into the amp and there you have audio from your PC going though your amp. you will find this audio outlet at the back of your PC.

What kind of media player do you use? You might want to get Jukebox plus or something like that.
