Well it's affects your child's vocabulary;the way they dress,the sports they play;how well they do in school. How well they do in school is the truth because if you show little appreciation for the work they want to show you then they would want to that well anymore. If you don't help them out when they ask for help then he/she will more than likely fail due to the parents not wanting to be involved with his/her school work. Also if you WANT to help don't help to much where it becomes his/her parents work because then they will expect you to do there work EVERY time. I hope i was of some help.

A parents influence is absolutely VITAL in a childs developement!!

A child is what he or she is exposed to. Your parents have a large amount of control on what kind of life and surroundings you are exposed to! they teach you your morals, values, manners, life lessons, to talk, to walk, to read!

Good parenting results in a stable child, who grows up healthy and confident.

I don't know for sure but you are starting to act just like your mother. The older you get the more you act like i.e. become your parents.
