It takes Dale Jr. about 4 to 5 years to make 20 million. But, that doesn't include his endorsement money and racing paraphernalia royalties.

I would say Dale doesn't make nearly as much in salary, but he probably makes a lot more from apparel sales from all the hicks who snap up anything NASCAR.

NASCAR drivers, like professional golfers, don't get a paid salary like members of team sports. They get their money from winning. They will both get the endorsement money, but if you want more money in NASCAR or golf, there is no contract negations, you need to win more.
