Well, Pandora, I think it is the cold wind on my face, the fun of being first in line to get into some store where things are deeply discounted, the Christmas tree, music, and the overall attitudes of the people. People seem so much nicer for some reason. Ask me not why!
Well, of course, knowing I had better not spend another penny on prezzies. I love giving and getting.

I wasn't feeling very "Christmasy" and decided to go ahead and put my tree up while I had some free time and as soon as I put that tree up and decorated my house a little I was feeling Christmasy all over!!

Looking out my window and seeing the houses across the forest [tree's have lost all their leaves, so i can see their now] and seeing the houses all dressed up in beautiful lights, father Christmas hanging from the chimney etc, etc. Just looks so bright and lively. The fact that the shops are full of gifts make me want to spend money i don't have and the best of all the Christmas cards i find on my carpet by the door every morning. Love it and it makes me feel cheerful.

The smell of a Christmas tree. And to a lesser extent the taste of a Christmas tree.

Everything else is secondary to the tree.

Nothing. I don't get xmas presents anymore so it's just another day in the year except all the shops are closed unless you hike three miles to find an Asian off license that's open for a couple of hours.
