Not knowing what you are doing will make it difficult for answerer's to give you any advice.

There are standard ways of doing an interview which, are probably being done by everybody.

My advice would be to start mixing it up, when talking about your employment (or lack of), don't dance, tell it like it is... Your looking for a home, somewhere that you will be a working part of a growing company. That you have thought about working for this company for some time.
Let them know you want to continue improving and will be enrolled in evening classes or, plan on further education.

Stay away from all negatives. You can't lie about everything but, when asked what bugs you, tell them the truth... Nothing!

look, working to most of us is critical and yet, we go around treating prospective employers like they were a priest. Let's be truthful about one thing, if an employer has a problem with you, they (most) will fire you with out notice and think nothing of it.

Dress conservative no matter what kind of interview, speak positively and, between the lines, let them know how hard you will work.

Never, never stop trying!!!

You seem to be getting good advise already but you gave no clue to what type of job your searching for or even your age or sex(M/F).

You should know a little of the job your seeking, act excited to be there, but not to the point that your desperate for it. Good grooming is alway a must without fail, when in dought dress not upscale but casual(well dressed). Answer in short statements and no long explanation, the interviewer may have 15 more interviews to do and your waste his time, time factor. Never tell or say personal facts unless asked to do so, again short explanations only. Being on time and rested when you get there, not flustered cause you ran from the parking lot to make the appointment, get there 30 minutes ahead and get your haert rate slowed and your anxiety will be in better control.

These are just a few things to think about, wish you luck, but keep trying !

I have 9+ years experience as a recruiter. It is hard to answer this without knowing something about what you do, or the types of companies you are interviewing with.

First impressions are lasting impressions, your post had spelling and punctuation errors in it. Hopefully your application/resume looks more professional.

1. Dress-Are you dressed professionally?
2. Communications skills-Do you speak with articulation?
3. Did you research the company before you interviewed?
4. Did you send a hand written thank you note to the person who interviewed you?
5. Are you able to sell your skills in an interview effectively?
6. Do you show energy and enthusiasm in an interview?

Pefect yourself first. Small things matter like appearance, vocabulary, grammar, etc. If you are not satisfied with your vocaulary, then find a few "buzz" words that you like and incorporate them into your repsonses and questions. Put yourself on the offense not the defense. Go with the mentality that you are not being interviewed, you are interviewing companies. Why wouldn't they want me? It is not *********, it is confidence.
Remember names, write them down if you need to.
Go prepared: take a list of questions that you are wanting answers. Find a list of quesitons that interviewers may ask and be prepared with the answers; then, have similar questions for the interviewer. (Example: "I am interviewing at other companies to determine to most appropriate fit; why should I select your company, what set you apart from your competitors?") Confidence is the key that will unlock the doors of possibilities in an interview setting.
Have relevant work experience: Find a way to relate any and all jobs to slant them towards your work experience.

Yeah, definately be over-enthusiastic. I knew this girl who always wanted to work in a particular industry so when she got a job interview for a position in the industry she was like the Duracell bunny and despite having no experience she got hired. Of course she did get let go after a few months but she was crap. Enthusiasm my get you the job, but it won't guarantee you keeping it.

are you dressing for the job? if your applying at a rather nice place where people wear suits and ties, you should be dressed up as nice as the other employees are. if its a rat hole, still dress nice but you can be more casual. make sure you make eye contact, give a firm handshake, use your manners. stray away from saying "like" or "um" , "uh" or any other filler words. speak clearly and don't be shy. be friendly.

you really haven't given us anything to give you tips on, we don't know what you are trying to apply for, how old you are, if you have any experience in the job field you are applying for. we know nothing about your situation other than you can't get a job. if you give us more info we can be far more helpful.

Research the company! Find out more about it than the person interviewing you! Look excited about the possibility of working there. Never say anything BAD about ANYTHING! Never bring up salary or any other perks on the 1st interview. Practice answering "typical interview questions". (Oh yea, check your spelling on your resume...)

Take a shower and brush your teeth. All of them, not just the ones in the front.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but considering the detail that you gave, it's the best I can do!
