I think that would vary widely depending on city, type of fireplace, how dirty it is. However if you do a search and enter "chimney sweeping, cost" there are some sites that give approximate prices. One site is listed below. You could look in the yellow pages on-line and call some in your area.

It probably varies by geography but in Northern CA near Sacramento it runs about $75. Also whether you one or two story home.
