I think I know what you are asking. Are you asking why when a blacks are by them self they are ice to you but if they get a bunch they beat you up? I really do not know the answer. I think that all people do that not only black people and any persons that do that are cowards. If this has happened to you in the past and it was done by African Americans then i feel for you, and the one who started it, is nothing but a coward. But PLEASE do not think that all blacks or what ever race is all bad because of one or two bad apples. It is too bad that there are bad apples in every race. Do me a favor, try to look at each person as who he or she is. If they are good then that is a good person if they are rotten ***** then they are just rotten pieces of ****. Just dont judge a whole race by a few idiots. Also, dont try to get into "well there is more blacks that do that then whites". That crap dont mean anything and you will miss out in life on the good people out there. Try to know people for who people are not for one or two are. Who knows it may be a black man or woman that saves your life some day. Also again, I am sorry if some black guy got his buddies on you..that was messed up but believe me all races do dumb crap like that. Good luck.

Cowards no matter what race, mob mentality rules,unfortunatly.Mabe there being initiated or som else,I se it happen here too in bigger Canadian cities.But what can u do?1 Phone cops 2 help him 3 grab a stick threaten them 4 Yell top of lungs 5 Run 4 help 6 Don;t think your helpless do something help your brother who's down he'll remember u 4 life. I'm glad you said "some blacks". But are you sure you haven't seen white folks and other folks gang up on someone, too?
People do this because they are cowards. They feel inferior and want to feel superior by putting someone else down. Some people put down others through insults and rude treatment; others, through beatings.
Read the novels The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier and Blubber by Judy Blume. They illustrate the behavior I describe and you describe--and it's not done by black folks.
