The real question is, "What duties are in this housekeeper's job description"? If you have an HR department, see them. Otherwise, talk to your personal supervisor.
Be careful though. Be prepared to answer questions like, "How do you have enough time to witness the housekeeper doing nothing"?

I too used to work in a nursing home. The house keeper keeps the place clean as far as linens go. They're kind of like janitors also. They get called in to bring fresh linens to the unit and also to clean up the room. Kind of like a CNA but with no certification and direct patient care.

i believe your answer is in your question a house keeper does just that vacumes carpet and does house work and nothing to do with elderly care

House keepers do just that. Clean, mop, dust, sweep etc. Maybe your house keeper is just lazy.
