I do not have great work experience or anything on a resume that would stand out and I feel like I need to achieve that. Do you think my best bet is to get an internship so i can get some experience? If so, does anyone know a great website where i can research this? I am more interested in a paid internship since my money situation is poor. Thanks so much!

It's not a dumb idea at all. It gets your foot in the door and hopefully leads to a full time job. The only down side is they wont pay you and could treat you like S***.

If the internship is in an area that you really want to work in, go for it! I would recommend you continue your education, even if it part time. See whatt's out there, if you need some convincing. If the jobs you qualify for are not as good for your career history as the internship, you have your answer.

it may variety each and every so often. regularly maximum college scholars do internships in the course of the three or 4 365 days. There are some majors that somewhat require you to finish an internship, this is regularly performed for the duration of your very last 365 days.

If there is anything stupid in this, it's the fact that you've spent 4 years studying something that you haven't tried yet.

I think that you should've done the internship in your Junior year.

Beyond that, you're trying to get into a field that is tight, and the way to do that is ALWAYS to offer your services for free (internship) to get in the door.

go work on your MA and do internship work at the same time. Then you'll be set.
