Is it a conflict of interest for corporations to determine what constitutes socially responsible behaviour? What, if any, responsibility do corporations have to areas of social justice?

Corporations cannot be expected to self-regulate in terms of social justice because in order to function they must put profit about anything else. It is up to governments to regulate these things for them and to enforce very stiff punishments for non-compliance.
