perhaps if the person in question reproduces witha shark. Then the baby would have special swimming powers, and bad *** teeth. Plus with the ability to breath both above and below water the baby would be very well respected in both the fish and human worlds. I think that the fish would most likely elect the sharkman (shark+human) to a very high level of government for his ability to communicate with the humans.

Babies must be taught to swim. If it were natural, drowning would not be a leading cause of death for children 4 and under. Swimming requires knowing home to posture your body, hold your breath, move effectively through the water and where to swim to safety. Parents beware of thinking swimming is an instinct it is not. Watch children always around the water.

FYI, babies can naturally breathe under water and one form of childbirth is actually to extract underwater until the baby is born. Also, babies may be put in the water immediately and so the quicker they get used to water the better swimmers they may become. However, if later they don't like swimming then they won't be better swimmers because as in all things to become better one must practice and improve your skills.

well uh no. it acualy might have some effect if the mom swims during the 9 months, and continue with the baby afterwards.
