Get in touch m8 and i'll have a natter with ya via email... Jimmy the Ponce... Ive been djing now for 11 years, as well as this i play guitar, bass and keyboards, at school i played violin and trombone... Also recorded several of my own productions, i dont release them because i'm not in this for the money, its a love of music... DJing is a lot more than just putting on a record and standing back... Thats what a critic like you does, makes an unknowledgable comment and then stands back...

Get yourself a 'loop machine' that allows you to have several different 'tracks' you can just hit one button and 'whatever' will play or you can loop something. Check with DJ Club International. Oldschool way was to take a small voice recorder and record the sample into it and just play it when needed over the dj mic. This involved too much rewinding at times though. good luck and have fun :-)

I think all DJs need help, all you lot do is cream off real talent, face it man all you do is spin discs, no talent needed there pal, methinks you ponce of others
