This is the most answers I've gotten for a stupid question I might add, but when I asked for help with my sons homework you all where at a lost for words. A lot of white people put down black people, because they simply do not like them. They have a problem with most races, it just that black people are the main scapegoats now. As I have said many times before, why are most black people on welfare, in a mainly RICH country? well I will give the answer, which is not "sugar coated" as the cliche goes. The answer is that white society meant for it to be that way, if all these so called blacks were to suddenly come off welfare and into good jobs then, there would be complaints that the "black people are taking all the good jobs". What a lot of white people do not seem to understand or want to understand is that, black people have been through slavery and discrimination which has restricted economic growth amongst black people and if you really want to CHANGE that, then why not are the black people not educated properly and compensation paid for slavery, that would sort the dependance on welfare for starters, but then again whites don't want that, because that would mean competition for jobs and all the other good things in life, that whites enjoy, but don't want others to, especially black people to experience. It is complete rubbish, that slavery is in the past and all should be forgotten, whites made a heck of a lot of money out of it and that is why the countries that participated in it are so RICH and wealthy today, so why not compensate? I will give you the answer and the answer is that, the majority of white people cannot bear to see black people with money or doing well, because it just not the done thing. They believe that blacks should be forever poor, doing crap jobs and being thankful for whatever little crumbs they have been given, while whites should have everything and be given the opportunity to succeed. Also I would like to add that, slavery is responsible for most of the racism, discrimination and stereotypes we have today, look in a history book for goodness sake, if only people were not so ignorant to realize that. THAT IS THE TRUTH, NOT "SUGAR COATED".

Why do so some black peole put down and try to emulate white people? Women of different races get lip injections...usually after they have aged and want to look 20 again. Not because they aren't black. I don't know any women who try to talk like you are saying. Slang isn't an attempt to be black, it's uneducated and juvenile. Mature blacks don't use street slang. And neither do mature whites.

These questions like this, breed hate and bitterness. Why would you even say something like this to someone, when you know darn well it's going to start some BS over nothing? Grow up. You are fishing for a hint of racism that just isn't there.

Having a bit of a self hatred day, Hon? Don't start this mess on here. People are people. If races are starting to emulate each other I think that's a good thing. I've seen white girls with braids, and black girls with straight weaves! What difference does it really make? And what do you mean whites "try" to sleep with blk women on the DL?? I also see mixed race couples on a daily basis. This ain't the 50's! You can date/sleep with whomever you choose!

You say that, yet you're still continuing to segregate the two groups. You are also stereotyping 'white people' which I admit, also happens vice versa.
The only way there will be no more problems is when everyone is joined together. I can't see that happening, but it's the only way. Some people are very closed-minded and prejudiced.

i moved to this town named lidenhurst filled wit white ppl and every time i see someone new they picture me as a gangsta who sells pot on da street and does drive bys

they also call any one who are latino ppl mexicans even if dominican or puertorican

i think its the known reputation out there that show black ppl pictured as gangstas and pimps and whores and all of that

I'm guilty of tanning. Already have a big butt. My lips are thin and I would probably look funny with big lips. Have never dated a "black" person just to see if there is a difference. So please don't group me together with other people. Thank you.

I wonder that too sometimes. Why do white poeple complain about us when they do it to us, too. Today a girl assumed I would steal from her purse in the bathroom, so she checked right before she left. People who put down black people, particularly for the way we look, are ignorant. These things you mentioned are the latest trend in beauty, and I think it's idiotic. People need to just work with their natural beauty, because standards will be different in a decade.

i dont understand ur complaining about there prejudism but then arent u being prejudice yourself towards whites? white people arent the only race that is prejudice or racist towards blacks. if some people are putting you down because your black it doesnt make it right for you to do it either. and to use slang and hip hop clothes or watever doesnt characterize you as being black. you dont have to like any of that stuff to be black. the music u listen to how you dress how u talk does not define what race you are.
