No problem here!

I think the amount of homophobics is just because weird people like to shock and say stupid things. The same applies to people being racist and attacking people because of their religion.

They are cowards that are using the anonymity of this website to get across their repugnant views

I am straight & have a few gay friends. I think homeophobics feel threatened by gay people and /or they are uncertain of there own sexuality.

People just love to hate those who are different. The sad fact is that most people would vote for Hitler these days because it gives them an excuse to blame someone else for their problems. Lets face it despite all the good will in the world around 75% of everyone in this country are racist, sexist, homophobes who would rather punch a stranger in the face then give them time of day.

I have three good mates who are gay, and a couple of lesbian friends too. Doesn't stop me taking the piss out of them mercilessly though! One of my closest friends is black, and I use all the racial slurs imaginable against him! When you are close to someone, you can do it without issue. If you are white and straight and "normal" would you have a problem with calling a white, straight "short" person short? No you wouldn't! Because society allows that!

If my gay, lesbian, black, asian and handicapped friends ever took offence to how I talk to them (and believe me, they give as good as they get!) they could sue me for millions if I was in America!

Why should complete strangers have any preferential treatment from any of us? Just because we don't know them doesn't mean they have no sense of humour!

Admittedly there are some idiots out there who take it too far, usually from the other side of the pond invading our site, but let's face it - Redneck jokes are more plentiful than Blonde jokes!

My point? Just let it lie! People will always take the mick out of others, no matter what it is that's different! Every stereotype has the mick ripped, but they are proud of their stereotype!

As a white Englishman with Black and Asian friends I suffer my fair bit too! I don't care though, because I'm proud of me! And you'll find your gay friend is proud of himself too, I bet you're a lot more hyped over this than he is!

i don't think they are really homophobic. i think it's just a case of some silly little kids trying to get a reaction out of people..

the world is becoming a better place as we learn to accept and love everyone, no matter what their sexual orientation.

I agree with just_ine_credible, most of the "homophobes" are just trolls trying to get a rise in people. The only way that they will disappear is if we don't feed into their game by responding to them. When trolls don't get anymore responses, they get bored and move on. But the more enraged panic and furor they stir up, the more they think it's funny.

Most of the homophobes on here are repeat trolls. People who post on purpose just to get under people's skin.

Hate usually comes from fear. They are afraid of gays for some reason. maybe they think that if they get close to one they will get gay cooties or something.
