I want to receive channel 4 and five via satelite without using Sky. When will they be freely available?

They are currently encrypted and require a card and sky box. Sometime in the future they will become freely available on satelite via a normal digibox. Any ideas when?

Are you asking this question from the UK? If so, I cannot understand how you say C4 and 5 are 'encrypted'. They are free to air, available via an analogue aerial, or via a digibox and freeview if you do want digital, without using Sky.
