I notice alot on Ebay how sellers will relist the same item over and over again. How in the heck do they make money on ebay doing that when it cost to put the item up for auction?

I assume as long as the profit generated is much more than the listing price, as long as they can sell.. they win. So it would be best if they sold it. Which is why its a good place for thieves, as they would make 100% profit if they sold it

I have learned a few things from my experiences as a powerseller.
In 2001(when I started) I used the same formula powersellers at the time were using

* I studied their key words
* I focused on their format
* The types of sites that were selling
* How much traffic they attracted
* What types of pictures and how many they used
* Which categories they used to list in
* What titles they used.
* What gallery pictures did they use
* Did they promote it using borders, color bands etc.

I have done ebay full time since.

With ebay stores the pricing structure is different.

Also most of them have "hidden" fees such as handling or required shipping insurance so your $.99 cellphone charger will cost more then the new one at the mall. with a $5.00 handling fee, $4.50 shipping fee, $2.00 to accept paypal fee, $1.50 insurance fee etc..
So they could list is 20 times and sell 1 and still make money.
