I have a 12.1" Alienware Sentia m3200. Very small, long battery life, and great performance. You should be able to order one from www.alienware.com, custom built to your needs.

Agreed with the Dell M1210 - the 12" screen is perfect for hauling around. I HIGHLY discourage you from getting anything from Alienware - their products are overpriced and their customer service and technical support people are ignorant and rude - I bought a laptop from them a couple years back and had nothing but problems. STAY AWAY! :)

Samsung Q1 is Ultra-mobile http://www.samsung.com/products/ultramobilepc/ultramobilepc/index.asp
Or, just really small... Samsung Q35 http://www.samsungcomputer.com/product/Q35/Q35_spec.htm?SMSESSION=NO
is probably good enough for 'normal' stuff, web surfing, word processing, spreadsheets and such, it's really small.
Or, the best tablet out there the IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad x60 tablet. Makes a very good tablet, and excellent ultra portable, or, if you have not interest in tablet PCs, just the x60.
