I am desperately looking for a Nintendo Wii system for my sons for Christmas! I can't find one anywhere. I've been calling everywhere and they do not know when they will get another shipment in. I don't really want to go on eBay and pay more than the asking price. What should I do?

Keep an eye on the Top Toys for Christmas page at Alex's Coupons:

They're tracking when the Wii, PS3 and a bunch of other toys are available. Right now (1:30am PST 12/12/06) Walmart has the Wii Holiday Bundle IN-STOCK for $583.56. Hope this helps...

It is very unlikely that you will be able to get one for christmas as people that ordered one in september have still not yet got one as there is not enough to go round. The only place you will get one is eBay but that will mean paying a high price but as you say you don't want to do that.
The best thing that you can do is to wait for a shipment to come in but this will probably be a long time.
It is so stupid how companies like Nintendo do not have enough stock for the demand when they are first released.

Good luck in getting one!!

THIS SUNDAY - (the 17th) - both Target & Best Buy are going to have Wii's for sale (they horde the shipments throughout the week and put them on sale on Sunday). Call the stores to confirm and (as much as this stinks) prepare to camp out late Saturday night/EARLY Sunday morning. It's not much fun, but you've got a really good chance of getting one if you do this. Target will hand out tickets to people in line around 6:00am so you can at least go get some breakfast before they open @ 8:00. Good luck.

You only real hope is ebay/amazon because everyone who pre-order and haven't recieved theirs yet are still waiting.
Although, there are a few stores that are selling over prices ( By few £10's) but you know. If you really want one.
Or you could wait - like myself - until say March and then get one?

Short of stealing one from a kid, you're screwed :P
Unless you had a pre-order and got one on launch day, it is very unlikely that you will get one before Christmas unfortunately. But who knows, maybe the stores will get more in a day or two before Christmas.

Chances are they are sold out everywhere. Your sons will not die if they don't get one for Christmas. Don't buy one.
