It can be normal for the whites of the eyes to be a pale blue, but there is also a bone disease where the bones of the body are so fragile that they break really easily and the whites of the eyes look blue. The only reason I know this is my pastor and his daughter have the bone disease and the whites of their eyes are pale blue. Not sure what the name of the disease is, but that maybe why they are blue looking.

There was a fad a few years ago with eye dyes (not recommended). There are also some special contacts typically used for movie actors, etc. and of course some are naturally bluish due to a thinner sclera refracting the light. Once in a while you might see it as a result of silver toxicity, such as residents drinking water downstream of old mine tailings.

Most likely nothing. Some people have thinner sclerae (the white part) and some of the next layer of tissue shows up.

probably an eye illness from wearing contacts.. i've seen pictures about what can happen if you don't care for you contacts as well as you should
