My neighbor, my friend, asked me to meet him for drinks on Friday. He's married, do you think that he is flirting ?
His wife, at this point, seemingly doesn't know that he asked
What do you think his M.O. is ?

You can ask this question in all different forms and ways....and the same answer is going to arrise......No....

and at this point his wife doesn't seem too know.....
Wow...you must be high on his list.....his wife too.

Sounds like a bad seed.

M>O is.....to be alone with you and NOT HIS WIFE.

Think twice ,.....this will haunt you......

Best wishes

Why don't you just pop the question about Friday while his wife is around. You are a female so you should be able to tell if he is flirting or not.

I am a jealous SOB and would probably like to smash his face in if my neighbor did that but thats just me :)

If it was with a group of mutual friends, sure, it could just be harmless fun. If his wife knew, sure. They could both be down with having good friends of the opposite sex or have an open relationship. But without wife knowing, Danger Danger! Stay away. You don't want to be the other woman!!!

if you are on here asking then the answer is obvious. NO. run and stay away from that. there is no such thing as you being friends with a married neighbor. marriages don't function like that. you should be saying i am friends with the married couple and hang out with them.

If he really just wanted to meet a friend for drinks, wouldn't his wife be invited too? Don't go.

I think I wouldn't go unless the wife was there. Ask him point blank if she will be attending? If not tell him it isn't appropriate to be out drinking without her and you will have NO part in it.

Assume that it is platonic and bring a date. Do you really want to mess with your neighbor's man? Would you be that comfortable with living so close to someone who wants you dead after having found out you are meeting her husband behind her back?

"Hi Neighbor, sure I'd love to meet you and Wifey for a drink. I need to ask her something anyway, you know what, why don't you give me her phone number so I can call her and see what she's wearing Friday?"

Absolutly not. Telll him that you will meet him and that you will be delighted to see his wife there as well, since she seems really nice too!

That would cool him off. Don't fall into that trap honey, be smart.

Good luck

He will get you drunk.
Tell you how lonely he is.
Take you to a hotel.
Bang your brains out.
Take you home.
When you call later he'll pretend you don't know what he's talking about.
The next time he needs some on the side he's invite you again.
