of course he is.how can people say that?! Lord Sesshomaru is his son they look alittle bit a like....and though Sesshomaru is much hottie then his father.I never like it his father anyways.

i understand that sesshomaru looks just like his dad and i think that inuyasha is the hottie of the family wit his cute little ears if you buy the movies but i dont think izayoi is his mother because he sure doesnt look like it but i think their dad is so hott if i was in that cartoon i would of had more than two kids

Inutaisho and Sesshoumaru look quite similar ... they even have similar markings ... and there isn't a HINT of that in the show. So.... I think he is InuTaisho's son.
