Yes and its because you have - a split second ago. It is caused by one (usually the left) half of the brain working slightly quicker than the other (usually the right) half. To use a computing analogy, when the slower half finishes processing the data, it finds it already in memory, giving rise to that feeling that you have met someone before, yet you also know that this cannot be so. Creepy, yes, but also quite natural - and a bit mundane, I'm afraid.

Yes I have twice.
One person i felt really comfortable with and it was a mutual feeling. We felt as though we could be sisters or best friends after knowing each other for just an hour.
Another person I met I felt really comfortable with instantly. I went home that night and had a dream that we were husband and wife in Roman times but he went off to fight a battle and was killed.
I saw this person a few weeks later and told them about my dream. He told me that he had been to see a pshychic a few days before who had told him that he had lived a past life as a Roman and been killed in Battle.
Very Weird and Freaky and I still don't know what to make of it.

Yeah! I have done once. It was years ago but it spooked me out that much I can still remember it. I can remember their face and the conversation we had ( I have a bad memory, so that's how much it freaked me) , There's no way we could have met before but I knew her. I know I did. No matter what people say. I'm kind of with what KK said, it's the only explanation.

Yep it's called deja vu. Where a place or person feels familiar, or like you've been there before, or have known the person for ages.

i have met a few people in this way. but i never found it creep, i was very relaxed and if anything it was a good thing all round. i have yet to meet some one in this way that will create a bad feeling....perhaps one day, ey?

yes but this is merely because there are only about 30 or so personality "types" in the world, so we keep thinking that we have met them before.

I believe in reincarnation & this has happened to me a few times.You probably knew them in a previous life.
