I am 15 weeks pregnant with twins. Last night I was at dinner and I started laughing really hard and I got a sharp pain on the right side of my belly. Then later that night when I was laying in bed I rolled over and got the same type of pain on the other side. They went away after a little while but it felt like when I moved it was still there. Is this normal? I have already seen both of the babies and they looked healthy and saw both the heartbeats(170) could there be something wrong. Any input would be appreciated

I had twins and I had the same thing happen. I ran as fast I could to my doc. He said that I'm making room for 2 and I'm going to have pains everywhere. If I didn't think a pain was normal. just ask and he'd be happy to answer any questions I might have.

I carried twins for 35 weeks (5 now!) believe me, those are muscles pulling. Nothing to really worry about but if your doctor says its OK maybe try to do baby (pun intended) crunches during your pregnancy so you don't lose your stomach muscles from the pregnancy (I've seent this happen).

Don't forget that you have a lot of ligaments loosening up in order to help you expand during pregnancy and to deliver. It may have been round ligament pain, which is very common.

Good luck and God bless!

with pregnancy in general, alot of your muscles get extra stress, it doesn't sound like anthing unusual, like a pulled (stretched or strained) muscle. If your worried though you can always mention it to the Dr.

I also sometimes feel this pain when I sneeze but always goes away. I am also 15wks. It's always smart to call your doctor so I suggest you pick up the phone and ask your doctor asap.

since you are having twins you will feel more movement than of someone caring one. also you are about at the time where you will feel movement anyway. just stay calm and enjoy the journey. if any questions call you DR. good luck.

If you had no other problems like bleeding than I wouldnt be worried. Its probably a foot or aarm hitting a nerve.
