Yes, this is just a devise to let you roam around while playing your guitar without having to trip over a cord. Be sure and do a little research before you buy one of these cordless systems. Buy the best one you can afford, you get what you pay for. Keep plenty of batteries handy.

Yes you would. That wireless guitar system simply allows you to go wherever you want without being tied to your amplifier by a guitar chord. If you're looking for something that you can use for practice, do a search on that website for "Stack in a Box." It's like a Walkman for your guitar...

No I just play the air guitar. It requires no amplifier or anything! :)
