Personally I prefer to type properly, that way you can be understood by everyone. Whereas if i only wanted to be understood by a select number of people, I would speak my our own language rather than speak lingo.

Type properly. Our youth are illiterate already. It just furthers the problem with 'lingo'.

Properly. Most of the 'lingo' answers I try to read make no sense to me, either! Why make it harder to figure out what a person is trying to convey by messing with the language???

prefer to type properly. using abreviated text and silly lingo is a bit juvenile.
to me, poor spelling is the first sign of laziness and stupidity.

(not including typos from typing too fast - we can all do that sometimes).

Proper typing and punctuation every time, it says more about you.

It's a bit like speaking BBC English rather than accented slang.
