no forced slavery. not illegal employment. similar to what the african slaves endured 200 years ago. and yes it does happen in the us. women and children from overseas arew forced to become prostitutes.

In some parts of the world it is backed by centuries of tradition and there does not exist the political will to stop it greater than the economic interests of its practitioners who wish to see it perpetuated.

It is a natural state of human affairs. Some people cry about "slave wages", but I, myself, have never had a gun put to my head and forced to work anywhere.
One thing to remember: A lot of people tend to telescope time. Individual freedom is a relatively new concept in Human Affairs. It is still not proven. Through out history there has been very little personal freedom.

For a number of young women, they are promised jobs in the US and find themselves forced into the sex trade. we had some young ones from South America forced into the bars freq. by men from the same countries.

The why it is always money, always has been, always will be.

Generally not in the US, unless you consider the factories who feel they don't have to pay much which is why all the illegals go to work at them. Are you a slave, playing on your owners computer??

Its still occurring because nobody has FORCED them to stop. And, we never will be able to with liberals controlling the country. Sometimes you can't play nice.

It never left, just the rules changed. As long as people can be oppressed and will accept anything handed to them, others will always feel the need to dominate them.
