wow, It is tough... but my advise to you is relax, take life easy now, it is difficult though but start everyday with new hope and aspiration, there is always someone else on earth who is more lonelier than yourself ...oneday you will find someone to share the other half of your life with that person.... the world is full of nice people just that you have to start looking for them, it might be just your next door neighbour... the person u never looked at all these years...

Semi retired at 47? What, you have enough money and don't have to work anymore? If you don't have to work for money, you have half a lifetime to do good for others. Find a cause and do volunteer work, donate money, do some good in the world. While you are doing it, you'll meet lots of worthwhile people, including women. Don't you have any family? Go live near family and find a purpose for your life.

Wow what a positive attitude....You Go!
Think of your hobbies, your job, a place where you won't go
house broke, and a weather you might enjoy....
Make a list of Pros and Cons....Then start job searching......
If it were me I'd pick somewhere in the Country, buy some land and make that 30 minute drive too work.....have the city...but rest and relax in the Country....Plant that garden,Fish, Hunt, and well....Just be me
Best wishes.....and again....What a Great Attitude!

In the USA? I'd go to San Diego or Clearwater Florida. Clean and on the beach. Works for me. If you don't mind cold NYC has more single women than men.

I would move to California/on the skirts of LA, beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, and beautiful people. If we were talking outside of the USA, the quality of life and the pleasure of living is definitely outside of United States.
